Roller Banner Artwork Size Guide: 85cm, 100cm and 150cm
Set up artwork correctly for our three main retractable roller banner widths.
| Banner | Visible print size | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 85cm | 85 × 200cm | General exhibitions, receptions, retail |
| 100cm | 100 × 200cm | Wider exhibition and conference displays |
| 150cm | 150 × 200cm | Large display areas and high-impact stands |
85cm roller banner artwork
Our 85cm roller banner uses a visible print area of 85 × 200cm. The current product specification also asks for 5cm bleed at the base, so keep logos, phone numbers and other important content well above the bottom cassette area.
100cm and 150cm artwork
The 100cm and 150cm models use visible print areas of 100 × 200cm and 150 × 200cm. Keep the design proportions exact and leave comfortable space around critical information. If you need a production template before finalising artwork, contact us so the file can be checked against the current stand specification.
Where should the important content go?
Put the logo and main headline high enough to remain visible when people are standing in front of the display. Avoid placing important contact details right at the bottom, where the cassette and viewing angle can make them less noticeable.
How much text should a roller banner contain?
Roller banners work best when the message can be understood quickly. Use a clear headline, short supporting text, strong branding and one obvious call to action. A display seen from several metres away should not read like a brochure.
File format and colour
PDF is generally the safest format. Use CMYK where possible and high-quality images at the intended finished size. Our 85cm product guidance recommends artwork at 150dpi at final size, which is appropriate for this type of large-format display.
