Printed Correx boards and signs
Correx is the trade name most people in the UK use for fluted polypropylene, a twin-wall plastic sheet that is light, waterproof and does not rot. We print it full colour at 5mm thick, in-house at our Denton, Manchester unit, for £7 per square foot with a £2.99 minimum.
What Correx is good for
- Property boards: For Sale, To Let and Sold signs. A1 is the largest standard size allowed for a residential board in England (0.5 m² limit).
- Building and site signs: contractor boards, site rules and safety notices cable-tied to Heras fencing.
- Event and directional signs: car park, parking and this-way arrows for weddings, fairs and sports days.
- Election and campaign signs: placed with the landowner's permission, not on lamp posts.
- Short-term promotions: grand openings, open days and seasonal offers.
How long does Correx last outside?
Correx is made for temporary outdoor use. Industry guidance typically puts its outdoor life at around one to two years, depending on how exposed the spot is. It is ideal for signs needed for weeks or months. For a permanent outdoor sign, an aluminium composite panel is the longer-lasting choice.
Fixing a Correx sign
Choose eyelets or drilled holes in all four corners or the two top corners, included in the price. Use cable ties through all four corners on fencing and railings, pulled snug but not over-tight. Do not fix signs to lamp posts, road signs or other street furniture without the highway authority's consent: it is an offence under section 132 of the Highways Act 1980 and councils remove them.

Prices are for one 5mm board, printed full colour, with eyelets or drilled holes included, before delivery. Correx and Foamex cost the same. Any other size is priced instantly on the custom size product page at £7 per sq ft, minimum £2.99.
